Wordless Wednesday

I thought I'd pop in and post another Wordless Wednesday, although I'm not very good about the "wordless" part.

Don't you just think its amazing how we all have these little devices in our pockets at any given moment to whip out and capture whatever memory is happening? I think its just incredible. Here are just a few of my favorite iPhone pictures from Scarlett's first visit to Disneyland back in November 2011.

With the phone photos, some obviously turn out better than others. But even those that aren't the best quality, still capture those fun little moments. Plus, you can share them instantly with friends and family while you are in the park (making them wildly jealous! haha!!)

Wordless Wednesday

What?!! The last time I did a Wordless Wednesday post was last September??! Is that possible? Well, I'm LONG overdue!

Here are some photos from Scarlett's first trip to Disneyland (Nov 2011). Meeting Jessie for the first time. (Jessie is Josh's favorite character, so of course this was a BIG moment!)

Oh & sorry about the little copyright watermark. I hope its not too intrusive in your enjoyment of the photos. Any pictures of Scarlett I post from here on out will have to have a watermark. I recently had an online baby-related company steal a photo off my blog and use it to promote their memorial day sale. It was a pretty horrifying & infuriating situation. We still want to share our lives (and our beautiful baby) with you. We'll just watermark our photos so people will have no problem identifying where these photos come from.

leave the world behind (again!)

Over four years ago I released a kit called "Leave the World Behind". I've always loved its color scheme, theme and overall feel. But as my style and skills have evolved, it has not exactly held up to my current aesthetic. It was time to retire the original and do a COMPLETE re-do!!!!

baby in a tea cup

One year ago, I posted Scarlett Ann's birth announcement here on the blog. Well, I finally got around to scrapping these beloved photos (it's so hard for me to scrap extra special photos!). And I TOTALLY love how it came out.

I told you all in my original post that I found my oversized tea cup at WalMart in the garden center (it's actually a planter). When I bought mine last year, there were maybe two designs to chose from. Well . . .

The other day I was walking through WalMart and ran into this entire WALL of giant adorable tea cups! PERFECT baby photo props!! I whipped out my phone to take some pictures to share this awesome find.



Oh my goodness! Where to even start!! Here is a close up of some of them.


ZEBRA!! That is so Scarlett's "thing". I was immediately drawn to the zebra. I think it would be cute for a boy too!


Bright polka dots! ADORABLE!!


You can't beat a red and white polka dot. It's so Minnie Mouse. How cute would this be with a baby in a Mickey (or Minnie) Ear hat?


There were a few "flower" style pots, that didn't have handles like the other tea cups. But how sweet would these look with a newborn baby blossoming out of them? So Anne Geddes!!

They were all $19.96 when I was there, but I bet they go on sale as the season progresses.

I have to admit I was a little jealous of all the choices out there that I didn't have! But I knew I had to share my find with you guys. Hope it helps.
