Just wanted to pop in and announce that I'm hosting a Template Challenge over at MouseScrappers and it starts today! You can pick up a free template, scrap it up purrrrdy and then post it for the rest of us to see!

(Click the template preview to go check out the challenge over at MouseScrappers.)

Here is the page I scrapped:

If this template looks familiar, its because I used my Father's Day Digi Dare layout to create it! (*Random sidenote: I printed that Father's Day page off and gave it to my Dad and he TOTALLY loved it. I even saw a few tears!! SUCCESS!)

Hope you enjoy the free template & that you'll scrap some Disney pics with it for the challenge. Can't wait to see your pages!

OH & don't forget to submit your Flashback Challenge entries! The deadline is tonight at midnight!!!

september kit challenge

As I was typing my post title it really hit me - IT'S SEPTEMBER! CRAZY!!!! Summer is officially over, isn't it?

Well - on a happier note - I'm hosting the September Kit Challenge at MouseScrappers. It's a fun challenge where you basically get a FREE KIT to play with!! Check out what I'm giving away . . .

And here's the page I scrapped with it:

And yes, I did make this kit for these specific photos. One of the perks of being a digi-scrap designer!! Making the 'perfect' kit for your own pictures!! I LOVE the photo of my family in the canoe and have been putting off scrapping it FOREVER (obviously - these photos are from 2007!!!).

Anyway - the "Back-Woodsy" kit will be free to download through the month of September. After that it'll be going in the shop. So get it now, while its FREE! And be sure to play along with the challenge. I can't wait to see what you create with it!

Oh and one more note - don't forget to pick up my "It's a Magical Grab Bag"!! Today's the last day before it gets split up and put in the store at full price.

My Speed Scrap is on Saturday night (1/8/11) at 7:00pm Mountain Time (9pm EST/8pm CST/7pm MST/6pm PST/2am GMT). By participating in my Speed Scrap you'll get a very magical pack of word art, which you can see in this thread (scroll down to post #3).

There are TONS of other great scraps and prizes! PLUS if you complete at least half of the speed scraps you get a special bonus prize package. And if you complete the FULL MARATHON, all 14 Speed Scraps, you get ANOTHER prize package on top of that. (**HINT HINT** There is a Gift Certificate from Britt-ish Designs in the FULL MARATHON PRIZE PACKAGE!!!!)

So, clear your schedule and Speed Scrap the weekend away!! It's gonna be fun!
