we're homeowners!

Yesterday was a very monumental day in the life of the Leavitts!! Josh and I closed on our house!





We have been in the process of purchasing the house that we've been renting for about 2 and a half months. And finally, yesterday, June 30th, we closed! We signed our purchase contract on April 30, and it took 2 months to get to closing. It was the most complicated, crazy, frustrating, grueling process. But we closed on the very last day to get our tax credit! I can't tell you how big a relief it was.



And the best part is, we don't have to move to our new house. We already live here!



HOME * SWEET * HOME



I'm so excited to be a homeowner!! It's something that we've wanted for so long. We just gave all our money to the lender though, so . . . we are feeling super poor at the moment. But once we've saved up a little money again, we have a list of updates and remodeling ideas a mile long to start on!! But I seriously cannot wait! It's OUR HOUSE and we can do whatever we want to it. Wow - what a feeling!!
